In today’s world, the pursuit of external expansion has led to significant problems: rampant economic inflation, resource depletion, and escalating conflicts between nations and groups. These negative consequences call into question whether societies should continue prioritizing technological advancements and economic growth to assert global influence. Given the detrimental effects of external expansion—such as economic instability, waste of resources, and rising conflict—should societies prioritize internal self-improvement over external expansion? |
